Discover sustainable tourism

In 2004, theWorld Tourism Organization defined the concept: "The principles of sustainability concern the environmental, economic and socio-cultural aspects of tourism development. To ensure the long-term sustainability of the latter, we must achieve the right balance between its three aspectsIn other words, it is about applying development-specific sustainability criteria to tourism Sustainable tourism is about respect for nature, cultures and people.
 
Fair tourism
 
Responding to the requirements of the Fair Trade Platform, fair tourism respects the principles of fairness already applied to trade. Tourism organizations are thus involved in the development, evolution and management of services. The benefits, social, cultural and economic, will then be perceived by the local population.

Solidarity tourism
 
It is the financing of local projects through the repayment of part of your trip: no more expensive than another stay, this type of tourism allows you to contribute to local socio-economic development. Solidarity tourism sometimes proposes to participate in local life and the project supported by the journey by immersing oneself in a host community.

Ecotourism or green tourism

Responsible tourism
 
Offered by companies, responsible tourism is committed to reducing the negative effects of tourism. Responsible tourism is subject to a charter that guarantees the preservation of the environment and cultural heritage.
