At the end of 2007, twelve miss France have joined the first calendar Miss France-ELA 2008, to support the fight against leukodystrophies. For her realization, the misses, including Sophie Thalmann, Elodie Gossuin, Alexandra Rosenfeld and Sonia Rolland were photographed by the famous fashion photographer Peter Lindbergh. Stefano Pilati, artistic director ofYves Saint Laurent, participated in the realization of this calendar, just like the Conde-Nast editions.
The proceeds of the sales were entirely donated to ELA.
The making of Peter Lindbergh's photo shoot was aired during the evening miss France December 8, 2007.
Created in 1992 by Guy Alba, the European Leukodystrophy Association (ELA) brings together families concerned by these serious genetic diseases. > See the website of ELA association
