4 tips for eating and cooking oatmeal

The traditional method
The classic thing about oatmeal is to eat it in the morning in a bowl of milk. As it is a bit bland, we recommend the porridge of oatmeal: boil 50 cl of milk, lower the heat and add 80 g oatmeal. Let it simmer for ¼ hour. Serve in a bowl with brown sugar. You can vary the pleasures for a breakfast by adding honey, cinnamon, apple pieces, raisins, dried apricots, and why not some chocolate chips?

Daily flakes
Think about sprinkling on your salads. Use them for your crumbles or cookies. It's good for your health (up to 3 tablespoons maximum) so enjoy!

Salty cakes
Heat 30 cl of milk. Remove the pan from the heat and add the oatmeal. Mix. Salt, pepper and let the flakes absorb the milk, add 2 eggs, a handful of parsley and 50 g of feta cheese. Cook slowly in an oiled skillet. It's ready !

The bars
For 12 energy bars, powder 200 g oat flakes, 125 g almonds and 125 g raisins. Mix all by hand with 4 tablespoons of coconut oil. Spread half of the mixture into a 20 cm square baking pan lined with baking paper. Top with homemade jam. Spread the other half of the mixture until the surface is smooth. Put in the refrigerator for 12 hours. Cut out some bars in the mold.
