A nail polish collection inspired by the Girls series
If you have not heard of the "Girls" series, then you have probably spent your 2012 year away from the internet or your television. Launched on HBO last April, the series has since made a buzz around the world. It must be said that we all cracked a little for the four heroines of the show, all very different, but each devilishly endearing in its own way. Add to that a good dose of style and dialogues with very cerebral humor, and you get an ultra-successful series on the way to the Golden Globe. It was enough for the cosmetics brand Deborah Lippman to dedicate a mini-collection of polish to the "Girls" of New York.
In the manner of OPI and its ephemeral celebrity collections, Deborah Lippman has already launched several nail polish in partnership with big names in fashion and Hollywood, Lara Stone à Sarah Jessica Parker. After a sexy collection dedicated to the series "True Blood" and another darker dedicated to the movie "Snow White and the hunter", Deborah Lippman has chosen to look into the case of "Girls". Out of it comes a mini-range of four polishes, each corresponding to one of the show's heroines.
The first shade is a khaki green that matches Hannah (Lena Dunham), central character and somewhat neurotic. Then come a powdery pink in the vein of feminine Marnie (Allison Williams), a delicate purple dedicated to the naive Shoshanna (Zosia Mamet), as well as a blazing red attributed to hot Jessa (Jemima Kirke). In short, a collection that manages to perfectly represent the style of each young woman.
Available from January 13 in the United States for the modest sum of $ 45, the collection "Girls" by Deborah Lippman will unfortunately not be delivered in France. But if you're going to New York next month, why do not you get those pretty nail polish ? The others will always be able to console themselves with the second season of the show, which will land on the screens ... January 13th, of course!
