A Smart that respects nature

With average CO2 emissions limited to just 88 grams per kilometer, the German manufacturer can boast of having achieved with the Smart the car the cleanest series in the world. And the least greedy, pusique its average consumption is displayed at 3.3 liters every 100 km, a stop at the pump every 1,000 km.

The little secret of this car, a "start / stop" alternator-start that automatically stops the engine when it is stopped, for example at traffic lights or in traffic jams, and starts it again when the brake pedal is released. Already used by other manufacturers, this technology is certainly not new, but it is particularly suitable for the small city. According to Daimler, the Smart stops every 1.3 km in urban areas, that is where it runs most of its time.

Compared to the Smart classic fortwo, the micro hybrid drive consumes 8% less diesel in the combined cycle, and achieves up to 20% fuel economy on its journeys in the city.
Always produced in Moselle, the Smart fortwo micro hybrid drive with cdi 71 hp engine therefore has new finishes such as "crystal white" body panels, a silver safety cell and 9-spoke light alloy wheels. From 10 490 euros, in coupe or coupe-cabriolet format.
