Actor George Clooney leaves the adaptation of James Ellroy's novel "White Jazz"
The American actor George Clooney has withdrawn from James Ellroy's adaptation of the White Jazz novel, Joe Carnahan, director of the film, said on his official blog.
George Clooney has relied on an overloaded schedule between Michael Clayton's promotion and the upcoming Coen brothers' A Serious Man. George Clooney was to play Dave Klein, a disillusioned police lieutenant, in what is considered an indirect continuation of L.A. Confidential.
