Autumn-Winter 2012/2013 fashion: the materials to adopt

The start of 2012 brings us a lot of new features compared to the winter of 2011. Indeed, the podiums highlight many topics that had been forgotten last year. The winter of 2012, however, does not cause any surprise for the fashionistas wise, since the creators have worked materials already known to the general public. We find leather and fur, which were already present last season. But also materials, like white lace, that we thought were destined for our summer outfits. Velvet seems to be the star of the season, it is found in many ready-to-wear collections. For those who thought that velvet remained attached to its seventies period, know that the year 2012 marks its comeback. The fabric remains the basis of a garment and therefore of our look. The materials of choice announce a refined look and on the contrary the more traditional materials suggest a casual look ideal for everyday life. The autumn of 2012 gives way to a large number of noble and luxurious materials. We went around the fall-winter 2012/2013 podiums to tell you what to wear in September!

The velvet trend
Velvet is a difficult material to wear, this fabric is very hot and it tends to enlarge the silhouette. The winter of 2012, however, announces its return on all the pieces of our dressing: pants, jacket, skirt, dress ... Nothing is spared. To adopt it, try to choose fine velvet and discreet colors. We have a real heart for the velvet trapeze skirt, it will emphasize our most advantageous forms.

The leather trend
Leather is the most timeless material that is, every season, couture houses are full of imagination to make us rediscover this bestseller. This season, oversized leather jackets are on the front of the stage. But the leather is also grafted on our skirts pencils. The result is still very sexy and rock'n'roll with a leather piece. Impossible not to adopt it this winter!

The fur trend
This matter had its moment of glory last season, Kate Moss has not left his fur coat all winter, so it's impossible not to be inspired. For a long time considered too snobby, the fur made a strong comeback last year. We thought that this return would be ephemeral, but the winter 2012 podiums announce its longevity, since the fur is ultra present in all the shows. By little touch to cover the shoulders or in maxi version on a long coat, the fur continues. Its snobby era is over, it becomes accessible (faux fur) in many collections small budgets.

The lace trend
White lace in winter ?! Winter 2012 is shaking up many fashion conventions. After the advent of the floral print in our winter wardrobe, it is the turn of the lace to be successful. Visually very fresh and romantic, lace will make us look great for this winter. It will have to be accommodated, the lace is not only reserved for our hot summer evenings. Far from brightening our tanned complexion, it will come to accentuate the most diaphanous complexions from the first snowflakes. The lace will be particularly present on fifties inspired dresses.

The satiny trend
It is certainly the sexiest and sweetest material of the winter 2012. Satin sets bring to our wardrobe a wind of lightness. The nightie effect is bypassed with flashy accessories or flashy colors. The softness that emanates from this type of material will come to warm up and liven up the most gloomy period of the year.

Quilted trend
Inspired by the mythical style of Chanel, quilted materials have become very common in our dressing room. Winter 2012 will be marked by a multitude of pieces with fabrics reminiscent of the famous 2.55. Delighted by this fashion innovation, we quickly adopt a small quilted jacket.
