Babar invites himself to Colette for an exclusive collection
An emblematic and timeless character who celebrated his 80th birthday last year, Babar is one of the heroes who rocked our childhood and continues today to make young and old dream. Inspired by the book of Jean de Brunoff "The story of Babar ", Silas Alder, young designer of the Danish brand Soulland has chosen to create a capsule collection around this elephant retro style. In the program ? t-shirts, sweatshirts, shorts and silk-screened shirts of the famous trompe-moi became an icon.
For this original event, the brand Soulland has chosen to settle in the famous Parisian concept-store Colette to unveil the capsule collection Babar x Soulland from April 3 and will be available throughout the Spring-Summer 2013. In addition to this exceptional collaboration, one of the showcases of the store will be in the effigy of the character from April 2 to 6, 2013. Not to be missed, Wednesday, April 3 from 16h to 18h, a Babar event will be organized for children in the shop. In addition to having the chance to see their favorite character stroll in the shop, many fun-educational workshops will be offered and the Water Bar will become the Water Babar with a special Babar decoration with pretty illustrations.
