Carrot and ginger pie

In India, in Ayurvedic medicine, the dried powder of ginger is considered the universal cure! The Chinese emperors, with many concubines, did not ask him so much: his tonic and stimulating powers were enough. Do not hesitate to sprinkle your dishes to exalt your love ideas and those of your companion. Better yet, as this one will not fail to recognize the flavor, it will understand immediately where you are coming from ... a subtle invitation not to wait until the coffee is served to go out of the table.

Pie carrot and ginger
Ingredients (for 6 people)
350 g of broken dough
1 kg of carrots
50 g of butter
15 cl of liquid cream
1 egg
1 C. coffee ginger ground
1 C. tablespoon cumin seeds
Flower of salt
Ground pepper

Preparation
Preheat oven th 6 (180 °).
Place the dough on the floured work surface. Sprinkle with cumin seeds and spread out the dough. Prick it with a fork and garnish with a buttered pan. Cover with parchment paper and fill with dry beans. Bake, cook for 20 minutes.
Peel and grate carrots with a big rasp.
Melt the butter in a pan. Add them carrots and make them return for 5 minutes on high heat. Reduce the heat, salt and pepper, add the ginger. Cover and cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove the pie shell from the oven, leaving it on.
Whip the cream with the egg, salt and pepper. Pour into the pie shell and cover with carrot. Bake and cook for 20 minutes.
Serve hot or warm.
