Chicken with cashew nuts and black spices

Ingredients for 4 persons)
1 chicken 1 kg without skin
100 g of nuts grated coconut
12 large peeled garlic cloves
1 piece chopped fresh ginger
2 1/2 tablespoons coriander seeds
1 1/2 teaspoon of cumin seeds
6 whole dried red chili peppers
6 cloves
1 cinnamon stick (7.5 cm)
225 g of nuts cashew
1 large chopped onion
5 tablespoons of oil
Salt

Preparation
Cut the chicken in 8 pieces.

In a large skillet, roast over low heat, without any fat, the nuts coconut, garlic, ginger, coriander and cumin seeds, red peppers, cloves and cinnamon. After 5 minutes, add 50 g nuts cashew and onion and fry for 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Turn off the heat and let cool. Grind this mixture in the food processor with 150 ml of water to obtain a thin paste.

On the other hand, reduce 25 g of nuts cashew in thin paste with a little water and reserve.

Heat the oil in a casserole, add the mixture of ground spices and sauté for 10 minutes over low heat. Add them nuts crushed cashew, salt and let go 2 to 3 minutes more.

Add the chicken and fry for 5 minutes over medium heat. Then add 3 cups of water and cook for 10 minutes over low heat, covered.

Add the rest of the nuts cashew and continue cooking until the meat be cooked. The result should be a thick, colorful curry, with nuts whole cashews.

Tip: When you spend nuts cashew and spices to the robot, mix them long to get a smooth and fine dough, otherwise your curry will have a lumpy appearance.
