Children in the snow: the opinion of a club leader
Are the children happy to arrive at the club while their parents are skis ?
For the little ones it's often harder because they do not know us and they often need a little time to adapt. For the older ones, however, it is better. They know that later in the day, a small group will be able to leave with a guide down the slopes easier so they are reassured.
How do you manage to keep them busy all day?
It is quite rare to have a child a whole day. The parents entrust them to us for the half-day, which gives them a little free time to hit the snowy slopes. The rest of the time, they prefer to come back to their little ones to enjoy with them the joys of the snow. Otherwise, in the center, we have of course a lot of games. If there is no snowfall, we enjoy the secure outdoor gardens where they can have fun sliding on the slides ... and land in the powder!
Do you have any advice for parents who want to take care of their children? ski ?
The first tip is to enjoy a vacation with them. They are also there to relax and do activities that they do not do the rest of the year. Another tip: always have with you a blank notebook and a box of crayons. In the restaurant or during the aperitif at the bar of the hotel, they will be able to draw their best moments of the day while leaving you a little quiet.
