Christmas dish: Christmas turkey stuffed with apples

When comes the dish of Christmas menu, here is turkey of Christmas stuffed to apples proposed by Kikkoman.

Recipe for 6 people
Preparation time: about 3 hours

Ingredients:
1 turkey ready to cook (about 3 kg)
Salt pepper
1 onion
1 clove of garlic
2 tbsp butter
300 g bread crumbs
4 apples
100 g crushed pistachios
6 tablespoons of Kikkoman soy sauce
1 teaspoon of ginger powder
3 tablespoons of honey

Ingredients for apples cooked:
4 apples (eg Boskop)
100 g marzipan
50 g raisins
2 cl of Amaretto
1 tbsp butter

Ingredients for the sauce:
400 ml of chicken broth
2 tablespoons fresh cream
1 tbsp sweet soy sauce Kikkoman
2 tbsp cornstarch

Preparation:
Season the interior and exterior of the turkey with salt and pepper. Prepare the stuffing by chopping the onion and garlic. Heat the butter and cook the onion and garlic. Cut the breadcrumbs, peel and cut apples diced. Add the pistachios, 4 tablespoons of soy sauce, salt, pepper and ginger. Stuff the turkey with this preparation then sew to close it.

Put in a dish, add three glasses of water and cook for about 2 hours (200 ° C). Water the turkey several times with the cooking juices. Return the
turkey after 1:30 of cooking. 10 minutes before the end of cooking, brush turkey with a mixture of honey and 2 spoons of soy sauce. Prepare the apples cooked by removing apples (do not peel them) Mix the almond paste, the dry grounds and the Amaretto. Fill in the apples of this preparation.

Add a knob of butter on each Apple and put them in the oven for 20 minutes. Prepare the sauce. Mix by heating 4 scoops of the cooking juices from the turkey with the chicken broth, dilute with the cream, adjust the seasoning with the sweet soy sauce and thicken with the cornstarch. Serve the turkey with the apples cooked, accompanied by apples fried ground.
