Fashion week: The braided bun Charlotte Le Bon at the Carven show

Air mutinous, golden lace dress, black pumps ... And braided bun, last night Charlotte Le Bon appeared as a princess worthy of a fairy tale at the Carven spring-summer 2013 ready-to-wear parade. Like a lolita, Charlotte Le Bon captured all the attention with his braided bun. Intense hair trend since two years, the braid is reinterpreted each season. Charlotte opted for a half-braided bun, letting out a few rebel strands on the front. While Fashion week spring-summer 2012 revisited the braid crown very Ancient Greece, on the edge of the forehead and standing low in the neck, this season, the trend is to a more romantic bun where the braids intertwine for a "vaporous" effect or empire, as seen at Moschino.

Copy Charlotte Le Bon's bun?

To make a braided bun, start by taking a large wick on the side of your choice, then make a mat by letting a few small bits escape. Then make a ponytail, then pin the braid on one side of your hair with pliers called "Kirby". Secure your bun by making tie points with bun pins. Finally, as a finishing touch, apply hairspray. You look like Miss Charlotte!
