Four weddings and a burial best British film

Virgin Media commissioned the Onepoll.com survey to determine in particular the best British film of all time. And so it's Richard Curtis' comedy, "Four Weddings and a Funeral", which won a majority of votes, being cited by 22% of voters. We remember this movie, released in 1994, with the beautiful Hugh Grant, Andie MacDowell and Kristin Scott Thomas, which tells the emotional woes of young singles English.
Fourteen years after its release at the cinema, "Four weddings and a funeral" remains one of the references of the romantic comedy and English humor.

In this ranking, "Four Marriage and a Burial" supplants a small point "The Life of Brian" of Monty Python, another reference of British humor squeaky and quirky.
Then come "Trainspotting" by Danny Boyle (15%) and "Casino Royale", the last James Bond directed by Martin Campbell (10% of the votes).

The poll also established the ranking of the best British actresses and Judi Dench, known especially for his role as M in the last James Bond, who won first place with 29% of voters. She precedes Helen Mirren (rewarded for The Queen) and Julie Walters, tied with 14%.

The adventures of the famous agent 007 have decidedly marked the spirits, since, in the actors, it is Sean Connery who arrives on the first step of the podium, ex-aequo with Anthony Hopkins. The two men precede Hugh Grant and Michael Caine.
