Genova bread

Ingredients (for two cakes 16 cm in diameter)
450 g marzipan
6 eggs
38 g flour
38 g of potato starch (or corn starch)
135 g of butter
7 g of rum
7 g of Grand-Marnier
Flaked almonds

Preparation
Mix with the beater the almond paste with 1 egg. Then add the eggs one by one, mixing well each time. Beat for 10 minutes.

Sift together flour and starch (to avoid lumps) and mix with butter and alcohols.

Carefully mix in 3 times the almond machine with this mass so that it does not fall back.

Butter molds 16 cm in diameter, not too high. Sprinkle with flaked almonds. Pour the device.

Cook for 30 minutes in preheated oven at 150 ° C. The blade of a knife should come out clean.
