What to do in the 4th month?
Your medical appointments
It's time for the 2nd mandatory prenatal exam. The doctor checks the weight, the blood pressure, and measures the cervix.
You will also do the Tri-test: it makes it possible to estimate the risks of trisomy 21. If the tri-test presented risks of malformation superior to 1/250, one will advise you to carry out an amniocentesis.
Paperwork
Send to the Social Security the 2nd sheet of the carnet de maternity corresponding to the 2nd examination. The duplicate will be sent to CAF.
Preparations
Learn about the different ways of preparing fordelivery : haptonomy, prenatal singing, yoga, sophrology ...
What to do in the 5th month?
Your medical appointments
You will do your 3rd Prenatal Exam mandatory. This is also the time of the 2nd ultrasound. It allows a precise study of all the external physical structures of the baby. The sex of your baby is visible echo with a margin of error of 20%. If you want to be surprised, make it clear to the doctor!
