How to avoid ingrown hairs after hair removal?

We are not all equal in the face: this is the harsh reality of women. But when it comes to ingrown hair, Mother Nature has been more "fair play". It is incrusted everywhere and on all types of skin. Thick skins will still have more visitors, while women with scattered down will have a little less trouble to do. To fully understand the intruder, it is still necessary to understand how and why it invades.

Why and how
The ingrown hair is actually a mini inflammation of the dermis caused by a hair that does not grow along its usual trajectory. It will then grow subcutaneously, causing swelling which may also be a symptom of folliculitis (inflammation with pus). Not very glamorous all that ... it was not counting the gestures that save!

Remove ingrown hair
On the calves, the jersey, the armpits, the ingrown hair is everywhere. When he is spotted, like Dr. Gray, you take out the artillery: with a pair of tweezers, pierce the top of the swelling, get the hair, and remove it sharply. Then disinfect the micro-wound with alcohol. If you feel that you have pierced too far, do not hesitate to stop the bleeding with anti-inflammatory compresses or with a stone of alum.

Hair removal
Shaving is often the culprit for the appearance of ingrown hairs. Especially if you pass the blade in the opposite direction of the shoot, ensuring nevertheless a near and impeccable shave. Razor shaving is not suitable for all women, if you are prone to this kind of problem too often, it will be necessary to shake up your habits.
The wax is unanimous among beauticians, since the method removes all the hair and its bulb providing a free path for regrowth. If you're a razor saver, then forget about dry-running and do not skimp on Aloe Vera-enriched shaving foam to apply under the shower before shaving.

Rather prevent than cure
The less sexy solution to reduce ingrown hairs is to ... let the hair grow! The irritated skin is calm, the cycle of growth of the hair is respected. Of course, unless you spend your holidays in Siberia, this option is unlikely with sunny days.
You will then perform a horsehair scrub at least once a week, to remove dead skin that clogs the pores and prevent the hair from going out. This bright scrub will be the day before hair removal.
During regrowth, you will abuse moisturizing creams (if possible enriched with vitamin A) non-greasy to soften and refine the skin texture. The greasy texture develops sebum which also harms a good growth of the hair.
Finally, if the problems still persist and the corkscrew shoots still do not entertain you, invest in specialized products such as the ingrown anti-hair care of Veet, which ensures a daily micro-exfoliation with grape seeds.
