How to cook soy sauce?

Known since antiquity, the soya sauce is from China. But it is in Japan, where it is called "shoyu", that the manufacturing process is enriched, and in fact the version we are currently experiencing.
Today, the salty brown liquid is still produced from fermented soybeans, roasted wheat, sea salt and water. Widely used, it finds its place in multiple preparations.

Like a perfume from elsewhere
The soya sauce is a must in Asian cuisine. Do you want to visit China? Serve them a caramelized chicken wok or Pekingese soup. Direction Japan? Make yakitoris and Soba noodles. For the Philippi, plan a lacquered pork and for Thailand, a chicken bang-bang.

With ease
Salmon steak, lentil salad, prawn wok, duck breast, pork sauté, etc. The soya sauce lends itself to all receipts and cooks easily. Just pour it into your preparations and vinaigrettes, or make marinades. And voila !

Your belly screams famine and your fridge is almost empty? Think of the omelette. Raise your taste by adding some soya sauce. Pour it into your pasta too, for a dish quickly done well done.

Customize your salad dressings
Wake up your salads and raw vegetables with the shoyu! It goes hand in hand with vinegar, citrus fruits, ginger, sesame ... Personalize your vinaigrettes by adding lemon juice and ginger. Ideal to accompany some slices of cucumber. Unless you prefer the flavor: soy sauce-balsamic vinegar to season a Greek salad.

Long live the marinade!
To flavor a bream, shrimp, cooked vegetables, or even meat ... Prepare a marinade. In a salad bowl or a deep plate, mix soya sauce grated fresh ginger and crushed garlic clove. Add your chicken breast, chopped steak or turkey skewers, film and cool for an hour. Return after 30 minutes before cooking.

Some recipe ideas
For an aperitif or an appetizer that changes the ordinary, think reblochon spring rolls sweet and sour or caramelized frogs legs. Then, continue to give some pep to your menu. Ice your carrots or cook your fish in foil by adding shoyu.
The soya sauce also perfumes and colors dishes good from home, like mashed potatoes. No need to season your mashed potatoes, the sauce is salty enough. Tempted by a recipe more exotic? Prepare a chickpea puree, shrimp with Thai sauce.
Finally, know that you can quite prepare your soy sauce. It only remains for you to aromatize your receipts and to savor this taste so different.
