How to cure colic of my child?

How to recognize them and heal them? A pediatrician answers us. When the baby comes into the world, its gut is not yet fully formed, and a fermentation occurs at the level of its digestion. This is how infant colics appear in the first weeks of life.
All your girlfriends mom have told you, you remember their puzzle to change milk to find the most suitable. Therefore, before you even give birth, you already fear that he too is suffering from this problem. Be aware that some children never get colic, yours can be spared.

If your child cries a lot and feels that something is wrong:

1 / do not panic! Indeed, your baby is a real sponge and will absorb all your stress, which would not help things. Relax, even if you ask your spouse or a loved one to take care of it while you rest a little.

2 / consult your pediatrician. Colic is common in newborns. You are neither the first mother to whom this happens, nor the last. Do not waste time and consult your pediatrician to help you find solutions to calm your child's pain.

Mr. Ben Brahim, pediatrician, answers us:

Infant colic usually appears in the first 3 months of life. The emission of gas or stool can relieve the infant. They can appear at any time of the day, unlike the frequent crying that is

How do we recognize them?

They are recognized by the crying of the child who is different from usual. If he suffers from colic, taking him in your arms will not necessarily calm him down. Other signs are also revealing of these colics:

A baby is breastfeeding more prone to this problem?

The breast-fed infant is also subject to colic depending on the maternal diet. Food eaten by the mother, such as: milk, coffee, tea, white beans, cabbage, onion, shallot, vinegar, soft drinks. . . can be one of the reasons for these colic. A breastfeeding mother must watch her food and forbid certain foods during this period to avoid such problems.
