Keira Knightley, in the shoes of Coco Chanel for Karl Lagerfeld

"Once Upon a Time". Once upon a time there was a great designer named Gabrielle Chanel, and better known as Coco Chanel. The story begins like this. And continue today. It's been 100 years since the first shop of this famous French label was born. It was in 1913, in Deauville. To celebrate this anniversary, the designer Karl Lagerfeld therefore wished to pay tribute to the cultured Coco, through a short film in black and white. Dubbed "Once Upon a Time", he puts on stage the sublime actress Keira Knigthley, in the role of Gabrielle Chaneland Clotilde Hesme, who plays her Aunt Adrienne. A first trailer of this commemorative movie has just been unveiled on the Facebook of the House Chanel. A little taste, which makes you want to see more, always more.

Immersed in the atmosphere of the 1910s, we discover, on his first images, the Deauville of yesteryear. Peter Pan collar, doe eyes and attached hair, Keira Knightley interferes here in the skin of Coco Chanel. The resemblance is certainly not striking, but we still recognize the great name of fashion, Keira tries to revive a few moments on the screen. The following is the entry of a beautiful young woman, in what seems to be the very first shop Chanel. The trailer closes on this phrase so well known, and that makes us dream so much: "Once Upon a Time" (once upon a time, in French).

The full movie will be presented on May 8 in Singapore, and broadcast live on chanelnews.com. The cruise parade Chanel will take place the next day, at the same place. A date to note, in red and bold, in its agenda.
