KIDEXPO: a 100% family lounge
The average age of women at the birth of their first baby is ... 30 years, according to INSEE (in 2010). As you can see, the world ofchildhood occupies a primordial place in today's French society. Its well-being, development and education are therefore the first concerns of parents. KIDEXPO, which is held from 21 to 24 October 2011 in Paris, knows it well. This show, which celebrates its fifth anniversary, brings ideas and solutions to parents. Each year they bring together all new services and products for children in the fields of education, daily life (guard mode...) and hobbies.
For four days, families can be full of ideas in three areas: "education and practical life", "sports, tourism and recreation" then "games and toys". This salon is also a paradise for children from 4 to 14 years since there are a hundred workshops and discovery areas. All the family will also be able to discover all the new games and toys that will appear in the letter to Santa Claus and at the foot of the tree in a few weeks. Do not miss the second edition of the Festival du Jeu de société with 50 free tables to play and test the latest inventions of publishers. Fun and educational workshops are grouped into ten thematic villages that allow children to discover life while having fun. Here are the themes:
At table ! This space is dedicated to the discovery of flavors, tastes and eating habits. Eat well, that can be learned. On one of the stands, the children will be able to discover the agricultural origin of the food, the seasonality of the products and the diversity of the terroirs. There will also be cooking workshops, tasting workshops, educational workshops around the apple which is apparently the favorite fruit of children at tea time. Do not miss the entertainment and cooking demonstrations and vegetable carving.
Learn ! The Village brings together the best specialists in education and fun and educational workshops.
My health : discover animations about life, hearing and oral hygiene of children. Fun and educational activities will be proposed by professionals.
My planet: on several stands, children and their parents will be made aware of sustainable development through solutions, gestures and information (sort the bricks, recycle paper, lamps, sorting household packaging and wood workshop.) It's never too early or too late to learn the actions that will save the environment.
