L'Oréal Professionnel fights AIDS with an offbeat campaign

This Monday 1st December does not only mark the arrival of winter, the cold, and the approach of Christmas. It is also the International Day Against AIDS. This date was chosen in 1988 by WHO (World Health Organization). While today more than 41 million people are HIV + and AIDS, many organizations and companies are committed to the "Zero goal: zero new HIV infections, zero discrimination, zero deaths related to AIDS"be reached over time.

On the beauty side, a mark of weight has once again shown its mobilization, L'Oreal Professional. The hairdressers of the international brand have sought to fight the trivialization which surrounds the disease of the AIDSas explained through a press release.

In partnership with UNESCO and with Bob Sinclar, the Foundation L'Oreal launches this year an ephemeral site of a duration of 24 hours, during all the time of the Day. Entitled "Hair Extrem", the site unveils a range of products very particular capillaries, where the hairdressing accessories are like objects of pleasure, got off spray"to"was shown comb"going through the "came out multi touch"... The idea is to raise awareness of the risks and serious consequences of HIV. This disease causes the death of millions of people around the world and causes great suffering.

With this media coup, the beauty brand uses its influence to attract more youth on the dangers they face, treating a phenomenon of society too commonplace. A thoughtful target, since according to a study Harris Interactive broadcast by the Smerep (a student mutual)one-third of students never use condom.
