Pushing back the date of the harvest of a grape makes it possible to increase its sugar content. This produces sweet wines.
The production area of AOC wines Alsace extends over 119 municipalities, in a sunny climate, on hills of 200 to 400 meters above sea level.
We recommend the Gewurztraminer Fronholz Late Harvest of André Ostertag, produced in Epfig:
A soft wine, all in finesse. Its nose is fruity, spicy, floral, typical and of good aromatic concentration. Rich but not heavy, it is very elegant, complex and has a touch of bitterness that balances the finish.
Vintage to privilege: A young drink, however, it has a high potential of guard for its concentration.

The good agreement: Half-cooked foie gras or cutlets. Blue cheese of medium structure. Desserts with white fruits (pineapple, peaches, apricots, ...) or dried fruits.
