Look of the day: Mélanie Laurent plays the Greek goddesses in Marrakech
Melanie Laurent has been rare on red carpets for too long. She had been seen in Cannes last May and since then she was discreet. The weekend of December 7, the French had however made the trip to the Marrakech Film Festival to give a trophy to Viggo Mortensen for his career. And the actress had to make it turn over more than one. Faithful to her somewhat bohemian style, a little romantic, the young woman had opted for a creation in the spirit Greek goddess signed Elie Saab Couture.
Round neck and wise, wide straps, draped hiding heart, high waist and marked ... this dress perfectly highlighted the feminine curves of the young woman. The long, fuzzy fabric fell nicely to form a train. And the fake "tie and dye" from the deep blue at the bust to merge into a lighter blue gave a certain lightness to the silhouette. A blue minaudière with golden chain, and discreet jewels were enough to accessorize an outfit which, although simple, did not call for overbidding.
On the beauty side, a luminous and discreet make-up and a braided crown from which several good lengths escaped accentuated the "Greek goddess" appearance of the ensemble. Even if we would have preferred a hair either fully raised or totally loose, the hairstyle remained consistent with the outfit. A perfect outfit absolutely perfect for a red carpet.
