Louis Vuitton: a video that creates controversy

A skid? In recent days, a clip featuring models who have marched for Louis Vuitton, including Cara Delevingne or Georgia May Jagger, circulates on the Internet. On the initiative of the English magazine Love, and its artistic director Katie Grand, the video pays homage to the last fashion show of the fall-winter 2013-2014 collection of the luxury brand, presented during the Paris fashion week, March 6 (Read also: Lily Collins, pretty dancer for the parade Louis Vuitton).

Directed by James Lima, a specialist in fashion films, this 3-minute clip features 7 models walking the streets of Paris, perched on high heels. They are waiting for cars. Soon, more room for doubt: young women play prostitutes! At the end of the video, images of the parade Louis Vuitton appear.

The video immediately made react on social networks, and scandalized feminist associations. Questioned by the ParisianFemen spokeswoman Inna Shevchenko explains, "Once again, women's nudity is used to make buzz or sell clothes." On the side of the collective Dare feminism, we denounce a "glamorization" of prostitution.

For the moment, neither Louis Vuittonneither the artistic director of the magazine reacted to the controversy. The luxury brand, however, indicated that it was in no way associated with this approach.
