Makeup: how to opt for the colorblock? Tips from Fred Farrugia

How to use bright colors in eye makeup?
- In flat: it is to cover the entire eyelid for an intense effect behind the fringe of eyelashes that turns out to be a flash of color with each blink of the eyes. This gives a graphic look a little 1980s, especially if we use fuchsia roses and other electric blues.
- In liner: waterproof liner pencil that slides well or eyeliner, or brush with the edge, we draw a line of a bright color flush with the eyelashes. The effect is very lively and subtle enough to coordinate it with his outfit!
- In halo: it concerns especially the eye shadow and the creams because we will try to create a colorful blur that will spread up on the upper eyelid and all in transparency. This works particularly well with the new pastel shades of green water and coral for a romantic effect.

What are your application tips?
We must be careful with the flat: for a pop side that does not take over the look, do not forget to insist on the mascara to define the shape of the eyes! For the eyeliner, we will avoid going to the "pin-up" that works with black. The idea here is to bring a twist of color: no need to prolong the comma too much. For the halo, apply the material to the finger or brush and work in circles until you get a cloud effect while lightness.

How to tune flashy colors with his complexion?
Side complexion, the mistake would be to leave it for fear of doing too much. Bright colors find their place better on a unified complexion, enhanced and warmed than on a blurred and pale complexion, whose colors can bring out the defects of the dark circles with blue, or redness with roses. On the other hand, choose nude hues not to force on the color of the blush.
Use a product, foundation, base or tinted cream, rather fluid to bring a good-looking side, not too fixed; Erase the dark circles with a concealer and just underline the cheekbones slightly. Powder especially under the eyes to avoid the crumbs of blushes which would be deposited under the eyes, and that the makeup does not flow.

How to coordinate eye makeup and mouth?
Stay in the same color families and the same intensities. For example, with a pastel halo, bet on a glossy mouth in spring hues. With a make-up rock with strong colors, play on a full color on the mouth (red, orange) but dull and faded finger: it allows to stay in harmony without putting your mouth forward. Finally, with pop colors, play on the style Katy Perry and assume the sweet side thanks to a fun red type pink or coral!
