MasterChef: Eric launches his own brand of macaroons

Eric, the discreet businessman of the second season of MasterChefhas been busy since the end of the program in early November 2011. The man known as the manager of the ready-to-wear shops Mango and Elite in the city center of Dunkirk has decided to diversify and bet on the knowledge he had gained during the competition by launching his own range of ... macarons !

A brand of macaroons

Selected from the top 21 amateur candidates in the competition MasterChefEric had finished fourteenth of the culinary competition, with this extraordinary experience and determined to take advantage of it quickly. Already busy with his job, Eric has chosen to give free rein to his taste for pastry by launching his brand of macarons, something he probably would not have tried without the approval of the consultant Pierre Hermé, master ès pastry and macarons.

Fifteen unpublished creations

From this project, fifteen new macaronesque creations were born, which the former candidate of MasterChef wished "soft, melting". To put the mouth water of all gourmets, Eric has not skimped on the effects of style by baptizing his newborns. There is thus a "sparkling dark chocolate", a "strawberry jasmine", or a "raspberry pink lychee" in a sweet version; but also a macaroon with "white truffle" and another with "foie gras fig chutney" in salty version. The macarons of the former candidate of MasterChef are on sale in the restaurant "S" of Donatien Santi, one of his friends, at 1.50? for sweet and 1.80? for salty.
