Permanent hair removal with pulsed light, when aesthetic medicine comes to the house

The principle
This is not at all the same as the laser used in medical office: it is a lamp that works with light. We plate the window of the camera on the shaved skin, then we send a flash on the area where it is placed, and we start again until we flashed all the areas. This light targets the melanin contained in the hair, ie the pigments that give it its color. The light transformed into heat is sent to the bulb that destroys it by thermal effect: the heat cauterizes the vessels that feed the bulb and destroy it, without damaging the skin and without pain, except possibly a small rapid tingling. Very weak, the root can no longer produce hair, or more and more fine and clear. Costly to purchase, these devices have the advantage of being used together, which allows to quickly depreciate them.

Cons-indications
The more the skin is pale, the more effective it is, the darker the skin, the more you have to be careful: as it targets melanin, the lamp can not be used on black skin or it will burn. Then, we flash area after zone being careful to cover everything: the window is very small, it can take time, especially on the legs!
We then start again, waiting for the regrowth to shave again, 3 times in succession at 15 days apart. Then, it maintains according to the disappearance of the pilosity and by retouches on the rebellious zones.
Count about 10 sessions for a total result, or about one year of treatment for a final result. The result after the first session is generally spectacular, the hairs will try to push back but will fall or be refined, the following depends on the assiduity but the result is durable.

It is used on all areas of the body, in women and men but the contraindications are many: black skin forbidden, on sunburns or after tanning, on moles or injured skin, or when we take photo-sensitizing drugs, anticoagulants or antibiotics. The treatment also does not work on blondes or redheads with light hair (they do not contain enough melanin).
