Pete Doherty, a modern dandy look in a tuxedo and top hat
For his first experience as an actor, the rocker Pete Doherty has slipped into the skin of Octavian, literary version of the romantic poet Alfred de Musset in his book Confession of a child of the century. For the role, he thus donned the clothes of a dandy of the 19 th century. A style he apparently enjoyed since he was inspired to develop his look for the premiere of Silvie Verheyde's film.
Present Tuesday evening in Paris with the director and some of her female partners, Pete Doherty thus sported a very dandy look. Same top hat as on the movie poster, black suit and tie adorned with a gold necklace and white and brown shoes so chic. We knew it and it is confirmed: the rocker has a real sensitivity mode, almost as much as his partner on the screen Charlotte Gainsbourg (vCharlotte Gainsbourg's retro fashion), absent this evening.
