Spring-summer 2011 children's fashion: a dad testifies

This time, it's a dad who's talking. Model of his condition, Luc is the father of a little Paulo. Luke loves "beautiful steps", as he calls them: "In fact, it is mostly me who takes care of dressing Paulo. Anna [her companion, note] does not have much time for that and especially it is a little lost trend level. I'm lucky to have a job that puts me in the forefront of fashion vision. And even if he is still young, Paulo becomes sensitive to that ... at 6 years old!

As a general rule, I'm going to surf on Milk's website [big children's fashion magazine, editor's note] since I know that I will only find products that are totally in tune with the times. I find all the major brands that I love and are at the forefront of fashion. What is funny is that it is often Paulo who chooses according to the colors, and I realize that he chose clothes that look like the ones I wear! Like father ... "

Well, but we do not necessarily have all the means to buy our toddlers clothes of major brands. In this case, the solution of Laure can be effective: "When I have to find clothes for my children, and as I do not want them to be too out of trend, I leaf through a lot of children's fashion magazines, and I watch carefully the windows of specialized stores. Once I did my little scouting, and that I noticed what seemed to be recurrent in storefront and in store, I go fishing elsewhere. In less expensive places. And I can perfectly give my children's wardrobes a fashionable look. I still have the eye and I noticed that this summer, the pirate motif was everywhere! On collections for little boys, of course. So suddenly I decline, and I compose according to these personal remarks ... And my children are dressed tip top! "

Conclusion: For your heads, in this spring / summer 2011 think sailor, stripes in general, small rolled up jeans, dresses with ruffles, shades of mauve, and green anise, saroual and linen. It's good to trust big brands if you're lost when shopping for your kids.

And if you do not really agree with what you discover in the storefront, in the store or in the magazine, try something! Who knows perhaps that by letting you go to your imagination you will create yourself the trend of tomorrow ...
