Stephanie Bataille, a gourmet comedienne of life and people

Since August 30, 2005, Stéphanie has been performing at the Petit Palais des Glaces, in Paris, a one-woman show that she has written herself entitled "Les Hommes". For 1:20, it takes us with a breathtaking energy in the world of a young woman addicted to married men.

"I know that I want to become an actress since they left me at the forceps," says Stephanie Bataille, who likes to meet at Flora Danica *, the restaurant she manages public relations between two performances: "you are here at the largest salmon debtor in France ", she says, a glimmer of gluttony in the eyes.

But the road to the scene is paved with pitfalls. To reassure her parents, Stéphanie goes into art history studies: "It allowed me to meet lots of people, antique dealers, auctioneers, with whom I am always in touch", positive-t -she.
The demon of the theater continues to tapping her, she decides to enroll in the course Florent. To finance her dream and pay her rent, she finds a job as a saleswoman at Hermès: "I sold a square every two seconds, I took the opportunity to learn some words of Japanese". On Sunday, her clients of 24, Faubourg Saint-Honoré find her, surprised, flea with her antique friends she has never stopped attending. "I'm curious, I always wanted to go to the other, do not swim constantly in the same environment."

With a forelock and the certainty of being worthy, she auditioned at the Comédie Française. Successful bet, in 1991 she participates in the last staging of Jean-Luc Boutté in "The King has fun" Victor Hugo. Custom dress, sauerkraut, ten sentences to be pronounced during all the show: "I lived wonderful moments".
For the next five years, Stephanie paces the scenes as well as the sets of filming (she turns in Jean-Pierre Mocky's film "Alliance seeks finger"), then we see it on the small screen in several TV movies and series ( "Madam the Headmaster", "Navarro", "Marc Eliott").

Arrive summer 2003, and its heat wave. Between two visits to the elderly, the actress moved to her computer and decided to write her show, "only for me". His subject ? The woman addicted to married men: "To be the mistress of someone, it's really pretty somewhere, is to accept to make all the concessions." Always with the pellet that has succeeded so far, it causes a meeting with the director Roger Louret who succumbs, just like Guy Bedos who becomes his godfather of theater. From Lyon, where she performed her show in 2004 at the Olympia in September, she can be proud of her career.
