Summer trend: the little black dress, a timeless

Created by Coco Chanel in 1926, the little dress black is undeniably an iconic piece. Short and light, the lines of this dress are simple and clean. At this time, the little dress black is scandalous both in its short stature and its color, which in the 1920s is reserved for domestic widows.

Today many stars wear it at social gatherings, awards and fashion shows. In 2012, it is also the front row of the Fashion Week autumn-winter 2012-2013 in Paris that put it back to the taste of the day. Maïwenn, Lou Doillon, Clémence Poesy, all fashionistas succumb. "Base of the style base", according to the great Karl Lagarfield, the small dress black suits many looks.

How to wear the little one dress black?

In a cabaret spirit, we slip into a short dress black fitted and adorned with a golden breastplate to bring the right dose of chic to this look straight out of the 20s. To refine the silhouette, we wear a pair of high-heeled Marie-Jeanne and we grab a quilted leather bag in wine-colored color. Otherwise, the little dress black is also worn in a bustier version. During a cocktail party, we slipped into a tight fitting piece with a heart-shaped neckline and accessorized. We put on golden jewelry. On the wrist we opt for a cascade of bracelets and ears we choose a nice pair of maxi creoles. Then, to perfect this glamorous look, we put on a pair of vertiginous stilettos and we comb our hair like one shoulder. Like stars on a red carpet, we loop the lengths with an iron and we bring them back to one and the same side by wedging them with a flower to stylize the hairstyle.
