Sun allergy

Contrary to popular belief, theallergy in the sun does not rage only under the strong summer sun. All year round, these itchy little red pimples can arise due to overexposure to solar radiation.

The cause sun allergy is poorly known. Doctors suspect that UVA radiation has little sun protection because it usually blocks UVB. The skin often reacts after the second or third exposure to the sun, as a result of too intense radiation, with symptoms close to urticaria. Theallergy can also follow a session of UV cabins since it is artificial UVA.

If the sun allergy is benignit is nonetheless embarrassing because the itching can sometimes even disturb the sleep of its victims. Small pimples and red patches often occur on the neckline, neck, forearms, shoulders, legs and tops of women's feet (sunbathers).

To cure a solar allergyyou have to stay in the shade for 10 to 15 days before it disappears. Consult a doctor who will prescribe something to relieve your allergy. Once appeared, it may reoffend each time you go to the sun.

To avoid solar allergy, as you can not ask your child to always play in the shade, the best is to adopt a sunscreen anti UVB and UVA, prescribed by your dermatologist. Gradually begin your exposure to the sun the first days. Preventive treatment with synthetic antimalarials may be taken two weeks before exposure.

Our advice
Theallergy Solar can surprise if your child stands behind a window or even in the shade on the sand where the reverb is strong. Prudence in all circumstances for his good health!
