The price of sole is increasing

According to the Relaxnews national barometer of fresh produce, the price of the 4-5-6 size sole is continuing. After an increase of 9.7% last week, it increases this time by 13.9%. Its price has risen from 19.71 to 22.44 euros per kilogram between 10 and 23 March, but remains 4.5% lower than that practiced at the same time last year (23.50 euros).

The mixed beef, sliced ​​roast, shows him a price increase of 7% over the week and 11.6% over the year. Between March 17 and 23, consumers paid on average 15.45 euros per kilo, against 14.44 euros seven days earlier.

As for the price of a portion of trout, resulting from aquaculture, it rose by 6.1% and sells on average 1.56 euro per piece.

Arrived massively in the shelves, strawberry "outside France" is proposed on average to 3.36 euros per kilo, or 10.4% of the month than the previous week but 1.8% more than twelve months earlier. In the same way, the price of the round tomato originating from France falls by 9.4% to reach 2.40 euros per kilo. Finally, the price of whole leg of lamb was sold 6.59 euros per kilo between 17 and 23 March against 7.27 euros a week before (- 9.4%).

Methodology: The price barometer of fresh products Relaxnews is made every Wednesday from data provided by the Department of Market News which depends on the Ministry of Agriculture. Every week, around twenty SNM agents raise the retail price of 150 products (fruits, vegetables, meat, Pisces...) in 150 large and medium sized retail outlets throughout France (representative sample of household consumption in France, established by Sofres).
