You know, I'm not a fan of dairy products that contain a lot of saturated fats, bad for our cardiovascular system. Of course the skimmed milk may be suitable but it tastes rather tasteless ... so I propose to replace the plant milks :)
Soy milk, almonds, rice, oats, hazelnuts or coconut, a vegetable milk is a drink made from vegetable ingredients.
Vegetable milk is an alternative way to put a good liquid in your cereals or recipes without using cow's milk.
It also allows people intolerant to lactose or cow's milk protein to have fun :).
These milks are rich in vegetable proteins and provide good fats (with the exception of coconut milk, full of saturated fats), which are essential to our body.
And good news, you can do all those milks yourself! Homemade is even better ...
Here is the recipe for fresh almond milk, it's my favorite, you'll see it's DE-LI-CI-EUX !!
Note that "fresh almonds" is the legal name of dry almonds (not roasted or salted, these are the ones that can be put in cakes).
Ingredients per person:
? Mix until a milky liquid is obtained.
? You can also add fruit, strawberries go great with almond milk :)
