Turtledoves: quiet!

Youpi! For the first time in Gironde, the turtle doves were able to cross the department without being the target of hunters.

These birds travel 5,000 km from Africa, where they spent the winter before returning to France in the spring to reproduce.

For almost 20 years, laws have prohibited the hunting of birds during their migration. They were never respected.

This year, only 3 incidents have been reported.
