With this experience, the young woman had the strength and courage to build her own box and create a place where she can let her creative genius go as she wishes. She chooses porcelain for her favorite subject, and proposes hand-made models in France. She does not hesitate to speak to her fresh and offbeat characters and creates benevolent specters, fantastic flowers or hands that bring good luck.
Violette Van Parys adds touches of paint or metal to her porcelain, such as gold, platinum or bronze. She also does not hesitate to add to this fragile material feathers, ribbons, rhinestones, which give all their charm and character to these pieces.
The designer confides and talks about her work in these terms: "I like creating jewelry because, in their futile aspects, it is an object that is part of the history of humanity and is charged with meaning. Men, regardless of sex, age or group membership, have always adorned themselves with ornaments. A jewel conveys a story, a rite, a spirit, a family secret ... It is something precious but also sometimes magical, erotic, that fascinates me and inspires me. It can be made of feathers, bones, diamonds or gold, it can be a drawing on the skin, a mutilation or a deformation of the body. It can hide in it the perfume, poison, the photo of the loved one ... The infinite possibilities of the jewel allow me to renew my creations constantly. "
