Vouvray, white wine from the Loire Valley

Wine region: Loire - Touraine
Registered designation of origin: Vouvray
At the edge of the Loire (or in the confluent valleys), on clay-limestone or clay-siliceous soils, the vineyard is located at the top of the coast. The Vouvray grape varieties are Chenin and Pineau de Loire.

We recommend the dry Vouvray of Lemaire and Fournier, produced in Vernou sur Brenne:
A silky Chenin grape wine. Its nose is intense in white fruits (peach, pear, apricot scent). His mouth, aromatic, is broad but light.
Vintage to privilege: 2004 (to drink young).
Indicated price : 11? about
The good agreement: Salty sweet dishes. Light soft cheese.
