When and how to announce your pregnancy?

Even if we really want to announce the good news, we can perhaps wait a bit. In the event of miscarriage within the first three months (1 pregnancy out of 8), the situation will be even more difficult if many people were warned.
But once the first ultrasound has passed (12 weeks), it's time to share your happiness!
In the office
It is recommended to notify your boss at the end of the third month pregnancy, in order to organize things during your absence.
Officially, this announcement must be made by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt, enclosing a medical certificate indicating the expected date of delivery.
This will allow you to benefit from the legal protection that applies to women pregnant : you can not be dismissed (except for serious misconduct), you can request a change of position if your state requires it and according to the conventions you can earn ½ hour on your daily working time from the 6th month of pregnancy.
To children
It's a bit like with loved ones. It is better to make sure that everything goes well before announcing the arrival of a little brother or a little sister. The children will ask a lot of questions and see the belly of their mom round up with curiosity. Good times to share with them.
