Winter make-up colors: Yves Saint-Laurent pearl gray
The style
Like a remake of a film from the 60's, we rediscover the bold colors of a perfectly drawn mouth and a sustained and elegant look. The 2009 version incorporates pearlescent pigments to lighten the mystery while making it more accessible. We play color, but also textures.
The complexion is decidedly dull to hang the light at its maximum, it must be perfectly diaphanous to leave the contrast to the eyes and mouth. The harmonies are then bold, we find the gestures of pleasure of the femme fatale. This collection of Yves Saint-Laurent imagines here a woman between dog and wolf that radiates a magnetic charm.
Makeup
First, the complexion which must be smooth to perfection. We use the Collector Powder for the complexion, a jewel in itself. Two natural shades light up the face: peach universal light, to unify all complexions in transparency and iridescent brown, to enhance the cheekbones and carve the reliefs of the face.
The look is a pearl gray halo on the entire eyelid. The intensity is then worked with a line of gray-black eyeliner, with a beveled brush, which is spread out so that the pigments intermingle. The gradient is easier with the foam brush from the inner corner to the outer. The mascara stays in the gray tint to keep the same tone. The same recall is drawn on the lower eyelid with a line that sticks as close as possible to the inside of the eye. Finally, the lips are painted a deep purple red that punctuates the desire, keeping a dull dominance for the depth.
