7 in 10 people aware of the risks of the environment for health

Monday, July 7 was presented the first barometer "Health Environment", realized by the National Institute of Prevention and Education for the Health (Inpes).
 
This survey was conducted among 6,007 French aged 18 to 75 years. It reveals that over 70% of French people feel concerned and perceive high risks related to theenvironment for the health. Asbestos is the most dangerous environmental risk, ahead of carbon monoxide, lead paints and sun exposure.
 
More specifically, 71.3% say they are well informed about the risks related to the quality of tap water and 69.5% on the risks related to outdoor air pollution. They also feel very aware of the problems related to noise, carbon monoxide and the use of mobile phones.
