A fun and active summer for children and their parents

Children and parents who have chosen to spend their summer holidays in Le Grand Bornand will be able to take part in the International Festival of Young Audiences At the Happiness of the Kids which will blow more its twenty candles between the 21 and the 26 August 2011. From 0 to 99 years, this festival is to live in family. Thanks to theater, clowns, circus, puppets, storytelling and concerts, children and their parents will be able to dive back into the delights of childhood.

This festival is also a springboard for aspiring artists and the Coup de Pouce award recognizes the young shoots that are the driving forces of the world of tomorrow. To the happiness of the kids invites viewers from 3 months to 12 years old and over to become the actors of their festival thanks to numerous workshops on the performing arts and nature. Some workshops (some are paying and some free) of the festival:

- To become a reporter and edit a real festival newspaper is possible. This is the goal of the Petit reporter workshop.

- The scientific workshop dissects everything from the little mystery of the unbreakable egg to the color of the grass.

- Artistic workshops teach children about circus arts, dance, magic or music.

- The green thread concerns the workshops. Some allow to discover the natur'art, others go to the assault of the huts in the forest or offer to learn the cooking "bio".

- The discovery of the agropastoral universe through farm discovery workshops and reblochon farmer production with farmers of Grand Bornand. Yum, yum!

- For children from three months to five years old, motor skills and awakening, carpentry workshops, theater and massages are available to children.babies and their parents.

- Do not miss the Tent to Read, a space that makes you read differently. This space, littered with soft cushions, puts hundreds of books at the disposal of families, children, grandparents ...

- Reading is also the goal of the Ki'Lit Cow Award, which is awarded annually by readers aged 9 to 11.

Open horizons, decomplex bodies, satisfy curiosities, sharpen others ... this is the goal of Au Bonheur des mômes. Each year, this festival offers eclectic and innovative programming with "Special Festival" creations and French premieres, as well as unexpected scenes, workshops, exhibitions, play areas, rides and a grand finale show.
