The story
Flash Mc Queen, ambitious young driver, only thinks to be the best and misses the point. With his two rivals, they must compete in an exceptional race in California to decide who will win the famous "Piston Cup".
But as he sleeps deep in the bottom of the truck that carries him, the door opens, he falls and finds himself alone, completely lost in the depths of America. He ended up landing in a tiny town "Radiator Springs" isolated from everything, located on the legendary Route 66 in Arizona. Arrested for speeding, he is sentenced to community service and has to tarmac the road that crosses the city. He will discover very nice people, delighted to finally see a new head, including Martin, rusty tow truck with a big heart, and the sparkling and seductive Porsche, aka Sally. This little epic will open his eyes and he will discover very quickly that it is not only the speed, the winnings and the trophies in life.
Our opinion
Even if at first we are a little afraid of not hanging on the track, very quickly we forget our reluctance to be dragged into the wake of Mac Queen. And after a few whirrings and turns of heating, one is glued in his armchair so everything is magic. Certainly the story is somewhat moralistic, even if it is a production PixarWalt Disney is not far, but the drawings, the animation, the realization ... are exceptional. Everything is full of humor. Each detail refers to the world of the automobile: Monument Valley is represented by radiator caps, aircraft trails in the sky by tire tracks, flies by ladybugs (yes, the famous VW) and the Cadillac's 50s-winged fins. Not to mention all those that a car enthusiast will recognize without problems.
Leaving the cinema we are surprised that the Car do not start talking and do not wink!
