The little story : timeless fascination, the famous formula has not been moved for 86 years. And even though the best-kept secret in the world has just been stirred up, it has not been revealed. Invented by Dr. John S. Pemberton in 1886, the formula of Coca Cola was only communicated to a small group of people. And never in writing! In 1919, Ernest Woodruff bought the company from Candler. For that he gets a loan in return for which he had to provide the secret of the formula. It is then placed in a vault of the Guaranty Bank of New York until repayment of the loan in 1925. It is the only written version existing to date! The secret will then be placed at the Trust Company Bank, where it has remained until today.
 
News : on the occasion of 125 years and the move of The Coca Cola Compagny, the company proceeded to the transfer of the safe containing the secret formula. The formula has been moved from SunTrust Bank (downtown Atlanta) to the World of Coca Cola. For the first time we could discover the safe where the recipe was kept.
