Hypnosis: how does it work?

Thehypnosis is a modified state of consciousness that results from deep relaxation techniques. It is practiced by a psychotherapist or a sophrologist. It is a method of suggestion that makes it possible to reach the unconscious in order to free it from its blockages or repressed negative emotions.

When do we use thehypnosis ? To treat certain phobias, addiction, OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder) or emotional shock. It is a possible alternative to stop smoking, treat bulimia, overcome a phobia, fear of the plane, stress, insomnia, depression ... Today, simple and painless, hypnosis finds its place among other therapies.

The principle of hypnosis consists of replace blockages buried in our unconscious by positive emotions. During this state, the person feels like floating in a dream.
Beware of misconceptions! At no time do you lose control of your mind, you remain in control of yourself.

Hypnosis sessions are relatively expensive (About 70 for one hour of session) Before starting the therapy, the specialist receives you for a preliminary interview to diagnose the nature of your problem and discuss the goals you want to achieve. After each session, you will remember everything you said.

And what is Ericksonian hypnosis? Basically different from thehypnosis traditional, it excludes suggestion.
The therapist accompanies his patient and allows him to access during a simple conversation, to the resources of his unconscious, to find the answer to his problem: the subject is respected in his psychic structure, and finds, himself, the answer to his problem. This brief therapy (1 to 10 sessions) solves a personal problem or suffering.

Our advice
For any session ofhypnosis traditional, preferably consult a sophrologist, who can better guide you in your therapy. Indeed, sophrology is a discipline derived from thehypnosis.
