Monitor your weight without doing sports: logical?

Funny logic
The French lazy? It looks good unfortunately. At least as regards the practice of sport.
From an Opinion Way survey conducted by the Le Figaro -Weber Shandwick Health Observatory, it was observed that for a majority of people, it was important to monitor their health. weight but that does not necessarily mean the practice of a regular sporting activity.
The survey of 1008 people over the age of 18 showed that 70% of the surveyed population is weight from close. Among them, nearly 51% even admitted to making a diet. A very feminine ambition since on the total percentage of people who responded positively to the question "Do you monitor your weight 56% were women.

As a second point, respondents were asked if they thought sport to better control his weight, 88% said yes, of which 39% are really convinced. In the end, only 12% of them claim to practice at least 2 hours of sport per week.

Clearly, we are dealing with a paradox. Because if the sport as such does not lose weight, however, it allows you to burn more or fewer calories depending on the intensity of the practice and transform the fat mass into muscle. But, to make sport is also a good way to firm up. As long as you do, you must be slim and firm ...

How to develop French sports culture
Based on these observations, the survey also asked the French respondents what would be the best way to reverse the trend and develop their taste for sport. A majority (57%) think that upgrading sports practice throughout the school curriculum would be a good way to do this. Many also think that we would do more than sport if employers encouraged the sporting practice of their employees. For example, setting up partnerships with the locality where the company is based would be a good initiative. Finally, it seems obvious to them that by proposing arrangements making it easier to reconcile professional and personal life, the French would be more inclined to sport.

How to motivate the most sedentary?
It is well known that in the long term, a sedentary lifestyle can have serious repercussions on health. But how to convince those who have never used to sport ? This is the third question asked in the survey. At 78%, respondents think that creating suitable meeting places for non-sports people would be a good idea. Difficult indeed to go to a room sport where the culture of the perfect physique reigns when it is not itself.
Finally, 72% explain that the dissemination of preventive information and adapted advice could inform the population about the risks incurred. In short, everything remains to be done.
