Paul & Joe, the saga of the brand

At the origin of the brand Paul & Joe, a woman with golden hair: Sophie Albou. In love with her sons, she gives their names for the name of the label. This frenchy starts her life in Paris and is immersed in fashion thanks to parents who run a textile company specialized in shirt making. In 1987, she began her career as a trainee at Azzedine Alaïa. It is in this luxurious atmosphere that the designer discovers her vocation. In 1988, she decided to enter the French Institute of Fashion. With her diploma, her parents offered her a job as a stylist in the family business.
 

Launch of the Paul & Joe brand
In 1995, Sophie Albou's parents sold the company. She does not intend to stop there. Sophie quickly starts and decides to create her own brand Paul & Joe. She begins by making collections for men having fun with floral motifs, vintage prints ... her inspiration comes straight from the spirit of the seventies. Paul & Joe is a huge success. In 1997, she launched the women's collection inspired by her travels and her desires. Romanticism and chic perfectly describe his creations. In just a few years, the brand is extending its leadership. The most beautiful stars come to dress at home, such as Sienna Miller, Keira Knightley, Kirsten Dunst, Julia Roberts or Usher. The brand Paul & Joe has more than 30 stores worldwide. The year 2003 marks the launch of the makeup line in collaboration with a Japanese company. Paul & Joe develops collections for men, women, children, lingerie, accessories ...
 

Creation of Paul & Joe Sister
Sophie Albou wants to go even further by offering a more accessible line of clothing. She thinks of girls who love fashion. Paul & Joe Sister keep its quality and style of collections. For Sophie Albou, it is important to open up and reach a wide audience. With Paul & Joe sistsr, it offers the ability to mix genres while creating one's own style. Young, trendy and feminine, this new brand is easy to wear.
 
In full Fashion Week Winter 2011-2012, Paul & Joe has invested the Olympia in a giant parade to celebrate the 15 years of the brand. The evening, marked by a mini concert Jamiroquaï was undoubtedly one of the most successful evenings of the week of fashion.
