The 10 tips for a successful massage

1. Create an atmosphere

2. Prepare yourself physically
The masseur must prepare himself, just like the massé. Proper hand washing is important, and wearing cotton clothes allows you to breathe better and feel comfortable to massage. Being clean and fresh, you will be only better masseuse!

3. Psychic preparation
Before massaging, know how to empty, be as serene as possible. If you show yourself available internally, without thinking about the races, your boss etc, you will be even more kind to the person being massaged. If you are upset, the touch of massage will be less pleasant. You have to be empathetic to take care of each other.

4. Prepare the other
The person you are going to massage is not yet ready to receive massage. Have him take deep guided breaths. It's not enough to let the person breathe, you have to steer it to do it slowly, deeply. You make him aware of his body, of his weight. For this, deep breathing is fundamental. The body relaxes after 2 to 3 deep breaths.

5. Choose the support
You can lay the person on the floor with a small camping mattress covered with a towel and a pillow. The massage is placed on the back or the belly, according to his desire. On the belly, the head is either on the side, or supported by a rolled towel on the forehead to clear the nose and the neck is as straight as possible.

6. Choose your product
Oil is the most appropriate product for massaging. The cream will penetrate the epidermis too quickly and your hands will not slide well on the body. The more natural and quality the oil, the more beneficial it will be. You just need to heat the product in your hands before massage.

7. Know some gestures
It is necessary to master some maneuvers to better relax the body. The key is to work slowly, gently. Small tip of pro: it is better to spend several times on the zones of tension rather than to press on it. And it is better to alternate 4 or 5 different moves rather than repeat the same. The sensations are more varied and the well-being more complete!
Nathalie Poiroux advises to work the whole body if you have the time, the best is to massage about 30 minutes on each face of body. Another tip of pro: if you start by massaging the nape of the neck, start with the face once the person on the back. Same for the feet. Starting with the same area on both sides creates a balance.

8. Finish smoothly
Close the treatment well and shelter it from the heat, then repeat the deep guided breaths to close the session in the relaxation.

9. Let silence settle
After the deep breaths, prolong this moment of well-being by leaving the person in silence for a few minutes, so that she can reappropriate this relaxing session.

10. Share
Here is the moment to discuss what you have just experienced. A small tea or seasonal fruit and the well-being continues. Ask the person to tell you what they felt, if they feel rested ... This discussion is not mandatory but it can be interesting.
