The brand saga: Nicholas Kirkwood

Nicholas Kirkwood was born in 1978 in England. He joined the prestigious Saint Martin's School, attended by the creator Alexander McQueen and Richard Nicoll, the director of women's creation at Cerruti, and Cordwainers College in which the creator Jimmy Choo studied. Graduated at the age of 20, he worked for fashion designer Phillip Treacy known to collaborate with the greatest fashion houses: Chanel, Valentino or Givenchy. Nicholas Kirkwood is ambitious and wants to create a new style, offbeat and modern that no one knows. Nicholas Kirkwood launches its first collection of shoes in the spring of 2005: his eponymous brand is born.

Nicholas Kirkwood always amazes with its futuristic and refined style. To pay tribute to the tale of Lewis Caroll, the creator imagined a pair of shoes for Alice in Wonderland. This unquestionable work of art has proved the unlimited inventiveness of Nicholas Kirkwood. The pumps are dressed in red roses for the Queen of Hearts accompanied by a tea service held by Alice's famous key that opens all the doors. The shoes could be admired in the windows of the Spring at the boulevard Haussmann.
