The fugue among teens: in the head of a runaway
Sitting at the terrace of a café, Marjorie plunges into the past, not without difficulty. Teenager revolted, gnawed by a feeling of incomprehension, the fugue imposed itself on her. Her big blue eyes are lost in the vagueness when she talks about her conflictual relationship with her mother.
A situation that pushed her to the door. "I felt misunderstood, the dialogue had become impossible," she says, and "at 16 I preferred to leave only to stay under that roof where life had become hellish".
A daily shared between shouting, crying and withdrawal into oneself. "Everything was problematic ... the housekeeping, my outings, my friends, we fought for everything and for nothing and I could not confide ...".
Marjorie then took refuge with friends and then at her father's house: "I felt relieved and then I did not really have a choice, I had nowhere to go". However, Marjorie was revolted, facing a mother who did not understand it.
"I ended up coming back after a few days, I was afraid that she wanted me, afraid that she would punish me, but we ended up explaining, it took time but we all both made an effort and I felt relieved, "she concluded with a smile.
